Thematic collections are curated sets of papers that present a timely snapshot of research in a topic of high current interest and importance. Edited by experts in the field, invited contributions undergo peer review to the normal Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, Analysis standards and are made available online upon acceptance. The papers are collated on a dedicated collection webpage on an ongoing basis which ensures that this significant research is visible to the community at the earliest opportunity.
If you are interested in proposing a thematic collection in Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, Analysis then please contact [email protected]. Please provide a brief proposal for the Editorial Board to consider that outlines the aims and scope of the thematic collection, the guest editors and the envisaged contributions.
Read the current thematic collections:

Applications of innovations in geochemical data analysis: This collection seeks papers that explore the advancements in geochemical data analysis such as nonlinear, fractal/multifractal, multi-statistical and machine learning methods and their applications in natural resource exploration and environment monitoring.
Hydrochemistry related to exploration and environmental issues: This collection seeks papers that involve the use of hydrochemistry in mineral deposit exploration, understanding environmental issues related to mining and mineral processing, remediation of sites contaminated by mining and mineral processing, water quality connected to water resources and agriculture and the development of analytical techniques in hydrochemistry for mineral deposit and environmental applications.

A new unconformity-related uranium district: the Patterson Lake Corridor, Athabasca Basin Canada: This thematic collection presents results of the first integrated study of this new district, from deposit-scale isotopic studies to regional-scale metallogenic and geophysical studies.
